In this gossamer-light romance, a wealthy American woman meets a charming Parisian headwaiter and they fall in love. However, the woman's estranged husband blackmails her into returning to America with him. The headwaiter follows her trail to New York, where, after months of searching, he finds her again and they reaffirm their love.
